Based on latest data, the number of centenarians in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the figure of men aged 100 or over has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same timeframe, the amount of female centenarians almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
